Could you introduce yourself?
A Londoner blessed with two fabulous children, an amazing partner and many great friends, who is passionate about life, music, the arts, food, the natural world and makes her living as a lawyer.
How did you discover Anna Ruohonen Paris?
It’s a tale of dogs, music and cross-channel friendship. Three years ago my son sang a concert in London with a girl called Miranda, after which I met Miranda’s mother, Joanna, who lives in Paris, and we became friends. About a decade previously, Joanna’s dog had made friends with Anna, and Joanna was introduced to Anna’s clothes. When my partner and I went to visit Joanna in Paris, we visited Anna’s shop, and he bought me some gorgeous clothes, and the rest is history. Once you have worn Anna’s clothes, you really don’t want to buy anyone else’s.

What’s your favourite thing about the label and Anna’s designs?
The colours and the fabrics are gorgeous.
Which one is your favourite piece?
You know that’s the hardest question. Each time I put a piece on, I think “this is my favourite.” Perhaps the chartreuse rosebud tunic because the colour is unbelievable – stops traffic in the road – and the cut is effortlessly elegant.
